As the name suggests, DAS DOM - GRILL KITCHEN BAR unites three dimensions under one roof. In the heart of Karlsruhe, in the urban ambiance of the Hirschhof, our "hallowed halls" are the best address for brilliantly contemporary cuisine and the finest meat from our specially crafted "meat altar", accompanied by exquisite wines, freshly tapped beer, and handcrafted cocktails.

Our honest, creative cuisine is available for lunch and dinner. Whether it's a light lunch menu or a juicy steak in the evening, at DOM, variety is key. We focus on the best ingredients because we love good products and make no compromises. Especially with meat and vegetables, we prefer to work with regional, certified suppliers. More than 200 wines - regional drops & great international growths - are just as enjoyable as our classic cocktails and a large selection of fine spirits, not to forget our Bavarian beer and the espresso roasted in Karlsruhe.
In summer, all of this is, of course, available outdoors, in the "cool" Hirschhof ambiance.

Do I need a reservation?
We recommend it — especially in the evenings and on weekends, tables fill up quickly. If you want to be sure, make a quick online reservation or call. Walk-ins are often possible during the day, but a guaranteed spot is only available with a reservation.
Is lunch also available?
Yes — and it's worth it. For lunch, we serve a select menu with changing dishes: hearty, fresh, uncompromising. Perfect for a proper lunch break that also fills you up.
Where does the meat come from?
We buy where we know what's in it. Our suppliers are regional, certified, and selected—not because it sounds good, but because you can taste the difference on your plate. From the meat counter straight to you.
Are there also outdoor seats?
In summer, the DOM opens its doors to the Hirschhof. Under the open sky, with good food and the unique ambience of the inner courtyard – one of the most beautiful places in Karlsruhe to unwind.
Can I schedule events in the DOM?
